Our return options

All are sourced from local suppliers in the South Island. We aim to find high quality options, that are sustainable and support local businesses.

  • Scatter Box

This is the simplest option for ash return. We use a high-quality natural cardboard, so you can choose to keep your pet close or scatter the ashes somewhere special. Please note, the ashes will be within a plastic bag in the box to protect them. If you would like a biodegradable option instead this can be arranged.

  • Keepsake Box

This raw wood box is made with sustainable New Zealand pine in Southern Canterbury. It can be opened so you can add special memories of your pet. The box size will depend on the size of your pet, but we have allowed enough room for both their ashes and other mementoes to be stored comfortably. Their ashes will be wrapped in a calico cloth bag to protect them. This box can be customised with engraving.

  • Sealed Pine or Macrocarpa Box

These handcrafted boxes come in New Zealand pine or macrocarpa, and have a stained finish to the wood. They are sealed with small discrete screws underneath, so the ashes can still be accessed if you wish.

They can be customised with laser engraving or a metal plaque.

  • Premium Rimu Wooden Box

These premium rimu boxes come in a beautiful varnished finish. Just like our other sealed wooden boxes, the ashes can be accessed from underneath the box if desired.

They can be customised with a metal plaque or laser engraving.

  • Reterniti Stone

Your pet’s ashes are converted into a tasteful, discreet stone. Your pet’s name is laser etched onto the top, the stone resting upon a bed of lamb’s wool and a wooden plinth. Comes in a number of sizes.
