About Us
We are a Dunedin couple passionate about people and pets.
Cally, originally from Dunedin, spent several years in Melbourne studying to become a veterinarian and now works as a small animal vet in Mosgiel. Brendan, from Victoria, Australia, has made Dunedin his home and is the main point of contact at Stonegate, dedicated to supporting the pets and people of Otago and the South Island. Cally and Brendan have two large rescue dogs called Billie and Lunar, who made the trip over from Australia with them in January 2023. For Cally, helping people navigate the grief and decisions surrounding the end-of-life care for their pets has always been an essential part of her veterinary work.
Roland will be in charge of daily operations. You will meet him if you require a home visit, and he will be the friendly face looking after our vet clinics. He lost his beloved American Staffy Dexter last year, so he has an understanding of how deep the impact of losing a pet can be.
Together, we strive to provide the compassionate and respectful service that pets and their owners truly deserve when it’s time to say goodbye.
